Thanks for allowing me into the forum - and thanks for creating it. I currently have two MGs: 1973 MG Midget 1275 - this is my "toy". It is now my race car (still road legal and used occasionally). Currently has a 1293cc (1275 + 0.020") race tuned engine pushing 100bhp nasp. I add up to 25bhp using nitrous injection (I drag race it!). In the (slow) process of building a 1380cc (1275 + 0.120") race engine that is estimated to push out approx 130 - 135bhp nasp plus up to 50 - 75bhp nitrous injection.
My second MG is a 1969 MGB GT which is one of the original Ken Costello V8 conversions. He did 225 conversions and it are believed to be 60 left around the world! I see myself as the custodian of the car rather than the latest owner. The car is currently undergoing restoration but I hope to have it back on the road in 2018.
I am also Secretary of the Northants MG Owners' Club, one of the older area clubs having been formed in 1978 and organisers of the annual "Rose of the Shires" charity road run held each May.
Stuart.

Welcome Stuart, it seem like you have plenty to keep you busy. I may well join you on the "Rose of the Shires" run as we plan to do less shows and more road trips next year. Based in Bedfordshire it would be easily doable for us. I'm still working daily on my GT but also have an engine change in the Riley and a clutch to fit in the SA, it could be interesting as never done a wet clutch before. Also getting my ear bent as the wife wants a new kitchin, life is never simple! Cheers Dave
